to the guesthouse of the Scottish Abbey in the heart of Vienna
According to the tradition of the Rule of St. Benedict, the Scottish Abbey also runs a guesthouse. The bed-and-breakfast style “Benediktushaus” is embedded in the historical buildings complex of the Benedictine monastery. It was established in 1980 and extensively renovated over the last years.
Our guests value the very quietly situated rooms looking out onto one of the tree-lined courtyards of the monastery. Therefore, and to respect our guests’ wishes, we deliberately choose not to equip any of the rooms with TVs or radios. Each floor has only five guestrooms. The spacious and bright corridors are inviting to spend time in.
Enjoy the monasterial quietness in the centre of the city and experience the special atmosphere of the Benediktushaus.
