How to get from Vienna International Airport to Benediktushaus
Take the CAT (City Airport Train) to the City Air Terminal in Landstrasse/Wien Mitte or the Schnellbahn (suburban railway) S7, which will also take you to Landstrasse/Wien Mitte (connection U3 to Herrengasse) or Praterstern (connection U2 to Schottentor). 5 minutes walking from U3 station Herrengasse: Exit “Herrengasse”, on Wallnerstrasse turn left and walk straight ahead to Strauchgasse, then turn right and walk to the Freyung.
From Schottentor: take the exit Schottengasse and walk straight along Schottengasse until you reach the Freyung; walk alongside the Scottish Church up to the pharmacy; the entrance to Freyung 6a is next to it.
A third option to travel from the airport to the city centre is using the airport bus to Morzinplatz. From there, you may either choose to walk 10-15 minutes to the Freyung (via Marc Aurel-Strasse - Judenplatz - Am Hof) or on the tramline 1 to Schottentor; from there, follow the directions as mentioned above.
