Arrival by car

Follow the signs to the city centre. Coming from Ringstrasse, turn right at the Schottentor/University into Schottengasse; coming from Hörlgasse or Landesgerichtsstrasse, cross Ringstrasse at the Schottentor and drive straight into Schottengasse. The access ramp to the WIPARK basement garage Freyung is located at the junction Schottengasse – Teinfaltstrasse – Herrengasse – Freyung. We suggest driving into the basement garage to unload your car, as there is no stopping or parking possibility in front of the Benediktushaus.

A stairway (exit “Schottenkirche”) leading up from the garage will take you right to the entrance of Benediktushauses at Freyung 6a.

Parking: in the WIPARK-Garage Freyung, reduced prices for guests (€ 27,30 per 24 hours). The short-term parking rule is repealed on the weekends between 22:00 on Friday evening and 9:00 Monday morning, allowing you to park free of charge in the area.

A cheaper parking solution is offered by “Park&Ride” at Erdberg on the underground line U3. (Price per day: 3,00 EUR). From the underground stop Erdberg the U3 (direction Ottakring) will take you straight to our closest underground stop, Herrengasse, which is only 5 minutes walking distance from the Benediktushaus.
